Used to detect gym visits and calculate distance to fitness centers.

Permissions Used:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION — precise GPS location
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — approximate location
• ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION — tracking while app runs in background

Collection Details:

• GPS data is only accessed when gym tracking is active.
• Location data is cached temporarily (up to 30 minutes) and not stored permanently.

2.3 Activity Recognition Data

Used for tracking daily steps and fitness activity.

Permissions Used:

• ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION — access to step counter and movement sensors

Data Collected:

• Step counts
• Duration at gyms or fitness centers
• Daily totals and milestones

Data is processed locally and synchronized to cloud storage for statistics.

2.4 Audio Data

Used for voice chat and speech recognition features.

Permissions Used:

• RECORD_AUDIO — microphone access
• MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — manage audio routing

Processing:

• Audio is streamed during active chat sessions only.
• Speech is processed by third-party services for recognition.
• No audio recordings or transcripts are permanently stored.

2.5 Payment and Purchase Data

For in-app purchases:

• Purchase tokens and transaction IDs
• Product details and receipt data

Note: Arkborne does not collect or store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide Core Features — Track steps, gym visits, and activity; Award XP and rewards; Enable AI voice chat; Sync progress across devices

• Vetting Process — We vet all third-party SDKs before integration, reviewing their privacy policies and data practices—especially for those accessing sensitive data like location or microphone.
• Minimal Integration — We integrate only essential SDKs and configure them for minimal data collection and permissions.
• Active Maintenance — We actively maintain and update all dependencies to their latest versions for security and policy patches.

Revoking permissions may limit core features (e.g., gym tracking, voice chat).

In the unlikely event of a data breach, Arkborne will:
